THE PROJECT

The client and the challenge

The client

Adriatic Furniture is a furniture retailer in Dugo Selo, Croatia. It sells sofas, dining chairs, beds, storage and TV units, and also makes custom pieces to order.

The challenge

The store needed to present a wide furniture range clearly, serve shoppers in both Croatian and English, and give customers who want a custom piece an easy way to ask for a quote.

OUR APPROACH

How we approached it

We organised the catalogue first: categories, filters and product pages, so a shopper can go from “sofas” to one specific piece in a few taps. The Croatian and English versions were planned together, so neither reads like a translation of the other.

THE WORK

What we built

Adriatic Furniture website design by SilverHost
01

Online store

Product categories for sofas, chairs, beds, storage and TV units, with filtering so shoppers can narrow a large range quickly.

02

Two languages

The whole site runs in Croatian and English, with a language switch in the header.

03

Wishlist and accounts

Shoppers can save pieces they like and create an account to come back to them.

04

Quote requests

A “Get a Quote” route sits alongside the shop for customers who want custom furniture.

05

Blog

A blog section for furniture trends and interior advice, which the client updates from the admin panel.

HOW WE WORKED

From first call to launch

  1. 01

    Discovery

We started with the business, its customers and the pages they would need most, and agreed the site structure before any design began.

  2. 02

    Design

Layouts were designed mobile-first around the brand, then reviewed with the client page by page.

  3. 03

    Build

The approved designs were built as a fast, responsive site with an admin panel the client can update without a developer.

  4. 04

    Launch and support

We tested across devices, set up hosting, SSL and analytics, launched the site and stayed on for updates.

THE OUTCOME

Where it stands now

The store is live in Croatian and English, with a wishlist, customer accounts and a quote route for custom furniture. The client manages products and blog posts from the admin panel.
